MVPs, Ambassadors & earnable badges
Devs.Nepal recognises contribution — not just identity. Most badges are earned automatically as you build, vote, host, and verify. Two prestige tiers — MVP (विशिष्ट प्राविधिक योगदानकर्ता) and Ambassador (राजदूत) — are granted by the Office of the Prime Minister.
MVP· Most Valuable Professional
Granted by the Office of the Prime Minister for distinguished technical contribution — sustained, high-impact engineering, mentorship, and leadership across Nepal's developer community.
Ambassador· राजदूत
Granted by the Office of the Prime Minister for community representation. Ambassadors speak at events, mentor newcomers, and liaise with ministries on behalf of the developer community.
Earnable badges
Badges are non-transferable and remain even if their criteria later change. The Ambassador tier may be revoked by the Office of the Prime Minister for breaches of the community code of conduct.
